Our commitment to gracious hospitality means that we have a passion for serving our guests delicious, healthy food prepared from scratch. Our team of chefs also have an eye for artistry and an eagerness to make meals into an opportunity to nourish both body and soul. Ours is a "scratch" kitchen; we stay away from processed foods and use fresh ingredients whenever possible, often from our own organic gardens.

Perhaps the most frequent question asked by our guests is, "Can I take your chef home with me?" Although we haven't yet figured out a way to make that possible, the next best thing is providing you with recipes developed in our kitchen. Click on any of the titles below to go to the complete recipe. You might want to start with the current Recipe of the Week. We are working on a Collins Retreat Center Cookbook, and hope to have it available sometime in the future. In the meantime, we hope the recipes below will give you a taste--literally!--of what we do here at the Center. But to truly experience the real thing, we invite you to schedule a retreat here or come to one of our programs--we would love to serve you our wonderful food in person!
